Hello. I’m Katherine Crocker, poet and musician.
In 2018 I hope to be reading at events and also performing more music. I hope to see some of you there.
Since winning the Indigo Dreams poetry pamphlet prize in 2010, I published my first book in 2012. The pamphlet included illustrations by Joseph Crocker. Many of the poems had already appeared in literary magazines, so I thank all those editors who encouraged me to continue to write. Some of the poems appear on this website.
In March 2017 I published my second book. I am now reading at local events and the book is available for sale via the usual sources. See the links below. The new book features artwork by Joseph and David Crocker who have collaborated to create five unique illustrations and the front cover features an original lino-cut made by me. In 2013 a selection of my poetry was short-listed for the inaugural Poetry School/Pighog Press Pamphlet Prize.

On the events page I list the venues where you will be able to come and hear my poems.
For all those interested in the above picture, it’s a photograph I took while on a boat trip (River Niger) to Timbuktu.
